Dear parents and family of Joshua, I am so sorry for the terrible loss of your loved one, so young with all his life ahead to live. At tragic times like this , grieving ones need comfort. and the Bible is the best place to find it. -Romans 15:4. says that "through our comfort from the scriptures, we might have hope" The true God, Jehovah, shows us in the Bible,that soon his son, Jesus ,will perform the greatest miracle, that of the resurrection of the dead.-John 5:28,29. . The Bible teaches that very soon, there will be no more death on the earth. You can read from your Bible at Revelation 21:4 that marvelous future hope for the human family. sincerely dianne mullins

It saddens me to bring this news to our Vikings family... Josh Anderson, a coach on our 2012 Purple Flag team was shot and killed last night in Riverside. He is the nephew to Eric and Susan King and cousin to our players, Vince (3/4) and John (Purple Flag). Eric coached Purple Flag and the 3/4 Tackle team and Susan was the team mom to the Purple team. Josh loved working with the kids last season and the boys really loved and admired him. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Please keep the King's and their family in your thoughts and prayers!

I'd like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Mike Anderson and his family. Mike is our NBL Director and also referees basketball for us. Mike's son, Josh, was killed over the weekend. While words can't mend broken hearts I hope that Mike and his family know that there are many people thinking of them at this time. Josh also worked for NSA for several years working with our field maintenance crew and has volunteered his time to coach basketball teams for us. He will be missed by many. Sincerely, Stephanie A. There are not enough hours today, as I don't want tomorrow to come. The moment your dad introduce you to me (summer of 93), it was love at first sight. The way your dad looked at you, I had never experience or saw so much love in his eyes. That moment I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with your dad. Even though I was not your birth mom, I love you with all my heart, no matter what! Grandpa King shared a story of New Years Eve. He asked all the grand kids what they were thankful for, going around from Matt, Becca, Nate, Zach who were thankful family, friends, but only YOU would say "I am thankful for my good looks". I have no idea what tomorrow will bring, but I know that a part of my heart is so missing you already. THANK YOU MIKE AND MAGGIE FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE A PART OF HIS LIFE. THERE WILL BE NO OTHER LIKE YOU! BBBB TO THE MOON AND BACK ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is still very hard to believe this happened. Christopher and Sam enjoyed playing COD and basketball games with Josh and had recently said it is time to have a game with Josh and Zach. Kory, Riley, and Jackson remember playing backyard baseball and basketball and how much fun it was. Josh will be missed by our family. We will cherish the memories we have and know he will be watching over his family from Heaven.

From running around the gym as a 9 and 10 year old during practice, to borrowing my suit and wearing it for two days (because he looked so good of course :)), I saw Joshua grow from a kid to a young man. Always by his side was his dad, Mike, who wanted nothing more than for his son to be a respected friend and confidant who was trying to do the right thing. Times were not always easy for Josh, but with the support of Mike, Kelly, and his mom, this young man was able to live his life to the fullest, being a friend to all he came in to contact with. I was devastated to hear the news and immediately felt a huge pain in my heart, until I talked to his dad, Mike. A life-long friend, he is so strong and his words about his son provided comfort to me that day. He said, "Randy, you know this kid grew up to be what I always wanted. He was a friend to all." This is a life cut way too short, but one that was lived with dignity, respect, and most of all, a friend to all. You will be missed, but continue to look over your family.

My heart goes out to the family who loved him and taught him to be respectful to all. To not be selfish for himself, but to be helpful, thoughtful, and without a doubt, giving of himself and all that he had. He loved his family.
